What better way to experience rural life than by spending it with our friendly residents.

Duckhaven Stud is the ideal base for your North Devon adventure. A 20-minute walk along cliff tops on the South West Coast Path will lead you to the golden sandy beach at Westward Ho!. Don't forget your body boards, buckets and spades! The beach is famous for its waves and amazing rock pools. For a bite to eat, the village has plenty of family-friendly tearooms, pubs and restaurants. A little further afield, check out two of North Devon's award-winning family attractions, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. Or if the kids are looking for something to do closer to the cottage, our play barn offers table football, table tennis, basketball and a heated plunge pool.
