Our former stables were lovingly renovated to create Farriers Cottage, a really lovely space which was designed around sharing quality time with family or friends.
Both the inside and outside spaces are generously proportioned, making them perfect for enjoying quality time together, whatever the weather. At the end of a day exploring the North Devon coastline, you can relax in the garden, fire up the barbecue and watch a spectacular sunset from the 4-person hot tub.
The local beach and seaside village of Westward Ho! is just a three-minute drive or a 20-minute walk down the southwest coast path. Don't forget to bring your swimming costumes, body boards, buckets and spades! If there are any budding surfers in the group, the local surf school offers classes as well as board and wetsuit hire.
For an evening meal, choose from Westward Ho!'s exciting range of restaurants. With Italian, Moroccan, Thai and classic British cuisine on offer, you'll be spoiled for choice. If you'd rather head back to the comfort of Farriers Cottage for dinner, the village has plenty of shops stocking delicious fresh produce.
We want everyone to be able to enjoy their stay at Farrier’s Cottage and have worked hard to make it fully accessible. We have also partnered with a local mobility company who offer hoist hire so that guests with disabilities can use the hot tub. Please get in touch to find out more; our team will be happy to help you.
This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to our suitability for those with access needs, but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services that we offer all our guests/visitors.

Wow Kala’s cottage is amazing, peace and tranquility with amazing views. The cottage it’s self is beautiful, a sense of that home from home feeling
We got married here last year and returned this summer for our first anniversary. I can not justify in words how wonderful this place is.
We loved our stay, the cottage has stylish decor and furnishings and its right on the South West Coastal footpath with wonderful views, great for early morning and late evening walks to see the sunrise and sunset.
A totally relaxing and romantic stay, we loved the hot tub and views. It was so peaceful and perfect, just what we needed
