All of our cottages boast fully equipped kitchens including fridge/freezer, private laundry facilities, dishwasher and coffee maker. All televisions are LCD Smart TVs.

This gorgeous cottage was named after the lovely Royal Celerity, stable name Rita, one of our race-winning mares. Royal Celerity is occasionally mistakenly called “Royal Celebrity”; while this is incorrect, it is true that this cottage will make you feel like a Hollywood star.

The generously proportioned open plan living area is a real feature of Royal Celerity, with ample space to relax and enjoy the stunning views and each other’s company. If you love cooking, you will love Royal Celerity’s fully equipped kitchen, with an island unit that makes preparing a meal a truly sociable event.

The lounge area features patio doors which open out onto the large private patio, hot tub and gardens – perfect for dining al fresco. For cooler nights, there are comfortable leather chesterfield sofas and a faux fire set into a traditional inglenook fireplace; you can snuggle up with a book, a board game, or to watch a DVD on the widescreen LCD television.

Upstairs, the vast, open-plan bedroom features a luxurious whirpool bath and stunning en suite bathroom, complete with walk in shower and Jack and Jill sinks.

On a warm summer’s day, you can soak up the sunshine on your private balcony or relax with something cold or enjoy a barbecue & hot tub in your south-facing garden area.

Royal Celerity is so beautiful that you may never want to leave. However, if you would like to explore the fabulous surroundings, there is plenty for you to see and do nearby. The South West Coastal Footpath is a short walk from the cottage; from here, you can amble down the coast path into the nearby village of Westward Ho!, enjoy the famous 2-mile stretch of golden sands, indulge in a little seaside retail therapy or treat yourself to something yummy from one of many delicious local eateries.

Of course, there is no better way to end your day exploring the glorious North Devon coastline than with a soak in the whirlpool bath or your private hot tub.  One thing is for sure: once you arrive, you will never want to leave.

Cottage is located on a stud farm with a single track leading to front door
Space for private parking for 2 vehicles is situated outside the front door
Guests are able to preorder shopping but must be present to accept delivery
Information is given to all guests prior to arrival on local suppliers
Cottage is 100 meters from Bideford Bus route no 16 please check here for operating times
Cottage is easily accessible for taxi
Cottage is 12 miles from nearest train station Barnstaple
Owners will assist with carrying luggage on arrival and departure

Your key will be ready in the door for your arrival, you are able to park directly adjacent to the cottage in your private parking space.  For arrivals outside of office hours please call the 24-hour guest phone 07807 096997 to make suitable arrangements.
