With a huge outdoor space and hot tub, Sadlers Cottage is perfect for gatherings of family and friends.  The cottage sleeps up to 6 guests plus an infant.  Sadlers has a large enclosed private garden and is also dog friendly. 

The cottage is a very spacious single storey property making it a very popular choice with families and large groups.

Set at our 60-acre farm, Sadlers Cottage sleeps six and up to two infants, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. The master bedroom has a luxurious en-suite, while the family bathroom has the option of being an en-suite for the second bedroom. Each super king-size bed is adorned with Egyptian cotton bedding and has the added comfort of a plush topper. Every room can be either a twin or double, depending on your requirements. 

The open-plan kitchen, diner and lounge area means everyone can spend quality time together, without feeling cramped. Kick back on the super comfy sofas and open the French doors to take in the country air. Here, the garden and patio area offer the ideal place for al-fresco meals or parties. Fire up the barbecue and sink into the hot tub with a chilled glass of wine for the ultimate luxury experience. Your beloved dog is also welcome to join you on holiday, free to roam through the enclosed garden.

In the cooler months, Sadlers Cottage is incredibly cosy. Relax in front of the bespoke electric wood-burner effect fire and gather to watch a film on the LCD TV on a rainy day. For indoor activities nearby, head to the play barn. We have facilities for table-tennis, table-football, pool and basketball, as well as a our small indoor heated plunge pool, please refer to opening times.

The stunning beach at Westward Ho! is just a three-minute drive away. If you'd rather enjoy a leisurely 20-minute stroll into the village over cliff tops and fields, the South West Coast Path is just moments from Duckhaven Stud. Don't forget your swimming costumes and body boards! Westward Ho! is the ideal place to catch a few waves. If there are any keen surfers in the group, the local surf school offers classes, as well as board and wetsuit hire.

When it comes to food, there's no better place to be. Westward Ho! is packed full of exciting eateries, serving Italian, Moroccan and classic British fare as well as delicious, fresh seafood. The village's independent shops have so much local produce on offer if you'd rather cook back at Sadlers Cottage. But if you don't have the energy to cook after a day at the beach, don't worry. We can send our executive chef and his team to your five-star cottage to cook a delicious menu, just for you.

A single storey cottage located on a stud farm in Westward Ho!, with a floor space of 150 square meters with enclosed outside patio & garden areas. Open plan lounge / kitchen / dining area with 3 x bedrooms (can be twin or double) and two en suites

Pre-Arrival
Cottage is located on a stud farm with a single track leading to front door
Space for unloading and loading is situated close to the front door. Parking for two vehicles is adjacent to cottage and clearly sign posted.
Guests are able to preorder shopping but must be present to accept delivery
Information is given to all guests prior to arrival on local suppliers
Cottage is 100 meters from Bideford Bus route no 16 which operates hourly please check here for operating times
Cottage is easily accessible for taxis
Cottage is 12 miles from nearest train station at Barnstaple
Owners will assist with carrying luggage on arrival and departure, if required

Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking
Key collection is from the reception building during offices hours (Mon-Fri 9-5:30pm) For arrivals outside of office hours please call the office on 01237 238967 or 24-hour guest phone 07807 096997 to make suitable arrangements. For guests arriving out of hours without a phone please knock on door at main farm house “Duckhaven Stud” upon arrival.
